    Pilani Bubu is an award-winning South African artist, storyteller and vocalist whose music blends jazz, folk, soul, nuRnB, poetry and spoken word. With seven albums and performances across more than 19 countries, she is known for her distinctive voice, powerful storytelling and dynamic stage presence.

    Her latest album, Nay’Indaba, explores South Africa’s history and social realities through the stories of strong women. A collaboration with French jazz-rock band Marthe, the album recently won Best International Jazz Album Collaboration at the 2026 Mzansi Music Awards.

    Melanie Scholtz is a multi-award-winning South African jazz vocalist, composer and educator, and former Standard Bank Young Artist for Jazz. With seven albums to her name, she has performed across Africa, Europe and the United States, earning recognition for her distinctive voice and artistry.

    Her career includes collaborations with Wynton Marsalis, Hugh Masekela, Kurt Elling, Bobby McFerrin and Christian McBride. Her latest album, Seven, won Best Adult Contemporary Album at the 2025 South African Music Awards.
